23 Oct — 1 Nov 2026 Rishikesh, India Up to 16 guests

Ten days in Rishikesh, where yoga began.

A small-group immersion on the Ganges. 60+ hours of practice, philosophy, and time enough to actually meet India.

Why this retreat exists

Not a holiday. Not a course. A reset you bring home.

Most yoga retreats are pretty photos and light practice. This one is at the source, with real depth, real philosophy, and a daily rhythm designed to survive the flight home.

01

Practice that stays with you.

Thirty-plus hours of hatha and restorative yoga, held in a daily rhythm you can recreate at home.

02

Understanding, not instructions.

Philosophy and Ayurveda sessions that explain why these practices work. You leave with knowledge, not a playlist.

03

India, past the tourist trail.

Ganga aarti, temple walks, jungle safari, kirtan, cooking with a local family — experienced slowly, with people who live here.

The place

Rishikesh.

The world's capital of yoga, on the banks of the Ganges, at the foot of the Himalayas. Sages and yogis have meditated in caves along this river for centuries.

Today the city is half pilgrimage, half village, half jungle. Bells at dawn. Monkeys on the bridge. Fire on the water at dusk.

Our programme moves with the city, from daily practice in a dedicated hall, to aarti at Parmarth Niketan, to rafting on the Ganges, to a sunrise above the valley.

The name Rishikesh comes from rishi — sage. Yogis have practised in the caves on these banks for thousands of years.

Most days feel like this.

The rhythm is the point. You wake with the city, practise before the heat, learn or go out after breakfast, return to the mat as the light falls.

Anna Me
A language teacher turned yoga instructor

I started practising yoga over ten years ago, though at the time I didn't really understand what yoga was. For me it was simply a form of gentle exercise. I had no idea how much it could influence the mind, or how it could shape the way we think, decide, and relate to others.

That changed when I went to India.

It was there I experienced yoga beyond the physical side of things. Not just movement, but breath, attention, and awareness working together in a way that stays with you long after the session ends.

200h and 300h Yoga Teacher Training, Rishikesh · 2023 – 2024. Teaches Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama and Meditation. Trained in India, based in the UK.
A note on this retreat

This is my second retreat, and I am very excited about it.

It's long enough to properly switch off and reset, with space to go beyond just physical practice. The programme is balanced with nature, culture, and time to explore. I'm collaborating with incredible local teachers who bring depth, experience and authenticity into every session.

All that's missing is you.

From past guests

Voices from the last retreat.

Rishikesh was intense, in the best way possible. I came for yoga, but left with so much more. The meditation sessions were tough — and that's where the biggest shifts happened.
I was initially dreading the two-hour yoga lessons every morning, starting at 7. But I actually enjoyed every single one — they flew by. By the time I got to breakfast I was energised and ready for the day.
A heartfelt thank you for organising this retreat. You brought together an incredible group from all over the world, creating an atmosphere filled with positive energy and great vibes.
Is this for me?

Questions, answered.

I've never done yoga. Can I come?
Yes. The practices are taught with care. New students are welcomed and guided. What matters is willingness to show up, not flexibility.
What level of practice do you expect?
All levels, from first-timer to experienced practitioner. Teachers adapt each session to who's in the room, and there's no competition between you and the mat next to you.
I'm travelling solo — will I be OK?
Most guests arrive alone. The group is small, the days are shared, and the week tends to form its own small family by day three.
What about flights, visa, and insurance?
Those are on you. Fly into Delhi (DEL) or Dehradun (DED). India requires a tourist e-visa for most passports, easily applied for online. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
How do I get from the airport?
Airport transfers can be arranged for an additional cost, priced by group size and whether you land in Delhi or Dehradun. Ask when you book.
What should I pack?
Comfortable yoga clothes, modest attire for temple visits, a light jacket for mornings, sandals, a reusable water bottle, and an open mind. A full packing list goes out after booking.
Dietary adjustments?
All meals are vegetarian and can be adapted for vegan, gluten-free, or common allergies. Let me know when you book.
Is the deposit refundable?
No, the deposit is non-refundable. It reserves your spot and goes toward early commitments for accommodation and teachers. Please be sure of your dates before booking.
